Properties : grey black powder,density:5.18g/cm3,it is decomposed into cobalt monoxide when heated to 895℃,The proportion between them depends on the temperature and burning time. Insoluble in water, alcohol,ammonia water, soluble in acid and hydrate solution.
Use : Used in preparing cobalt salts, pigment and ceramic glaze,also used as oxidant and catalyzer. And it is the adhesive agent for glass, ceramic, magnetic material and colorant for some pigments..
